Parsec is a remote access software that can be used to access your computer from anywhere. What makes it different from other remote access software is that Parsec is specifically developed for games.
If you’ve ever tried to play games remotely before, you already know it’s a nightmare, from start to finish. It is usually a nightmare to set up, and once its all set up, the streaming quality really isn’t great. With a lot of input lag, and a lack of clarity, it’s impossible to play the game.
Thankfully, Parsec solves all these problems. It’s extremely easy to set up, and the clarity is fantastic. It also supports multiple input peripherals from different devices, so you’ll be able to play local co-op games online with your friends.
What makes Parsec even better is the operating system support. Apart from Windows and macOS, Parsec also supports Linux, WebOS, Android, and even Raspberry Pi 3.
Online vs. Local Co-Op
When it comes to co-op games there are two different types; online and local. Online co-op games are games that can be played with friends but on different devices through an internet connection. There are a lot of popular games which have online co-up, such as Elden Ring and Valheim, which are all available on Eneba.
Local co-op games refer to those games that support multiple players, but only on the same device. This means that if you want to play this game with someone, you’ll have to be in the same location just to play the game together. There are a lot of games which have only local co-op. It Takes Two and A Way Out are great examples. This is where Parsec comes in. With the help of Parsec, you will be able to play any local co-op game online.
